5 W resistor to prevent error messages from the on-board computer after replacing bulbs with LEDs - T4W base.

Use

Some recent and top-of-the-range vehicles receive error messages from the on-board computer (OBC) after replacing the original bulbs with leds.

Effectively, as LEDs use much less energy than bulbs, the OBC considers that the bulb is burned out, and therefore sends you a message saying that you need to change it when the LED switches on perfectly.

To solve this problem, simply install this module (no cutting of wires). This resistor simulates consumption similar to that of a bulb, and therefore solve the error message problem.

Examples of use:

- Sidelight, licence plate

Leds to use: W5W (T10)

Value: 39 ohms

12 V consumption: 3.7 W

Attach the resistor to a metal tip away from plastic parts.

Do not touch the resistor once it is in place due to a burn risk.
